Virginia is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Nutrition Education & Behavior Extension Specialist, and researcher. She is currently an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, and serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the HED program at NC State Extension. With 16+ years of experience and as Principal and Co-Investigator on several federally funded grants, Virginia has a unique history of developing, implementing, and evaluating training and interventions that support community health and the engagement of Extension professionals. Virginia also provides HED program oversight and expertise in program implementation, data management, and health outcomes assessment.
