Basheerah is a licensed Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN/LDN), Nutrition Education & Behavior Extension Specialist, and researcher. She is currently an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC and serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the HED program at NC State Extension. Basheerah has 10+ years of experience designing and implementing community-level policy, systems, and environmental-level (PSE) interventions in numerous community settings, including corner stores, schools, military installations, and worksites.
